A soft and fully deepened crust, with a tender open crumb, this loaf relies on a large amount of its flavor from a Desem starter (Belgian) that is maintained and then stored inside of the flour container itself to keep cool and develop a sweet, mild aroma even when proofed to its fullest extent. When everything lands perfectly the interior smells like stone fruit and toasted nuts while only having flour, water, and salt. 

Best used for sandwiches sliced long ways or for ripping and dipping at meals. Keeps wonderfully for a few days, just reheat on a griddle or in the oven for a moment.
